When we reach our midlife our life style we followed pulls us down with cholesterol, pressure, blood sugar etc. We inevitably become daily drug users. Flavonoid are natural chemicals found in plants, but in your blood they will remove free radicals and fight inflammation. Apart from this you will get pectin, a soluble fiber. 3. Beans
Surprising entry? no! Beans contains lots of insoluble fiber which is good for heart because it lower cholesterol. Since beans contains fiber it is good to get rid of waste from your stomach. Beans are good source low-fat protein, carbohydrates, magnesium, and potassium. They can be easily substituted for meat. Some Experts opt for Soya beams because they are good source for Omega-3.

Another vegetable very high in antioxidants. But I haven't see many people using this possibly due to being expensive. There is one chemical compound found in Broccoli that shown to fight cancer and blood pressure. Also they reduce risk of cardiovascular disease. The major benefit is unlike normal antioxidant molecules they are not finished after one cleanup but they are so powerful they boost body's entire defense system.

11. Walnuts

12. Kidney Beans

13. Peanut
I want to put Peanut along with Almonds and Walnuts. Reason being a handful of roasted peanuts contains approx 62mg of phytosterols a plant compound that inhibits body from absorbing cholesterol.
14. Oats
Oats are high in soluble fiber which act like a sponge in your intestines, absorbing cholesterol rich bile acids and neutralize it. So the end result is lower LDL cholesterol.

17. Turkey

20. Watermelon

Dark Chocolate
For people with hypertension, eating dark chocolate can significantly reduce blood pressure. A chemical compound in dark chocolate flavanols causes dilation of blood vessels which reduces pressure.
